Well from my understanding, if you have an account at FTP, NO rakeback site like VIPRakeback.net or anyone else will be able to get you rakeback at FT.

You definitely will want to have Rakeback… I know that it helped me a lot when I got started. I suggest that you consider playing on another poker site that you currently don’t have an account at. Be sure to sign up to the new poker room through VIPRakeback.net, following their instructions so that you get signed up with rakeback. I recommend that you consider Players Only or Carbon Poker, both sites are perfect for up and coming players like yourself. Also I just checked, VIPRakeback.net is holding some pretty damn powerful promotions for members that play at PO or Carbon.

Hey Blew, I have an account on fulltilt where I just play fake chips but I have a couple hundred on another site. Ftp won’t allow me to get rakeback if I deposit now since I already have an account. Do you know of any ways around this? As I am just beginning my poker career I feel I would be leaving money on the tables if I play on ftp longterm w/o rakeback.

I don’t know if I can pinpoint 1 particular video to watch as a lot of them really are quite helpful. But some words of advice…

1. Don’t get ahead of yourself especially in regards to bankroll management. Slow and steady is better than being a streaky player. I know a lot of people that can make a lot of money quickly, but a few months later they are busto.

2. I’d recommend getting Holdem Manager to track your poker progress and to review your sessions afterwards. This will help you find your leaks/errors.

Hi Blew,

I just found out you were on here. That’s very cool to have such a successful guy in our midst.

Under the current conditions of the NLHE games, what would you say is the single best video (DC or whatever) or piece of advice you could share with me that would help me move up to the midstakes from the low. I play FR by the way.
